ILLUMINATION

On SUNDAY

April 7th at 3pm

We'll learn from the Eastern Spirit Path

With the Stone for ILLUMINATION

Ilene will co-lead this session of teachings.

ILLUMINATION is the Third Stone of the

Eastern Spirit Path - guided by

Spirit Keeper of the East, Wabun

While we study other stones in the Wheel

Remember the place where we currently live

We are now in the time of Budding Trees

The BUDDING TREES Moon

(March 21 - April 19)

The Budding Trees Moon

First Moon of Wabun

 Spirit Keeper of the East.

Mineral  totem - FIRE OPAL

Plant totem – DANDELION

Animal totem – RED HAWK

Color - YELLOW

Elemental Clan Influence - THUNDERBIRD CLAN (fire)

The BUDDING TREES Moon

The Fire Opal can teach people in this position about the need for Water--the emotions--in tempering their fiery energy. The Dandelion can show them the advantages of taking root as well as flying. The Red Hawk can demonstrate the joy of freedom and of a long, clear view. The Budding trees Moon will teach you about energy, intensity, catalyzing change, fearlessness, and optimism. Being in this position will show you your leadership ability, the enormity of our own spirit, and the extent of your clear-sightedness. People experiencing the Budding Trees Moon need to learn to channel their energies, contain their tempers, and be more patient with others.

--Sun Bear and Wabun Wind, Dancing With the Wheel

Watching these magical creatures on a summer evening, the Firefly, produces a feeling of awe and wonder, as well as appreciation for the many small beings. Awe and appreciation of all life are important to Illumination.

Ginseng emits a slight fluorescence at night, drawing you to it like the inner light of an illumined being. Using this herb helps promote overall good health. It is a healer, calming agent, and strengthener.

Meditating with Calcite's spirit, carrying it in your medicine bag, or wearing as "jewelry" can help you with joy, love, communion, peace, and centering, as well as Illumination.

Whenever you are seeking more Illumination and/or Light, try to use the color of Fluorescent Blue. Use something of this color to focus on during meditation. The vibrations of Fluorescent Blue are quite strong, so use only what you need.

THE MEDICINE WHEEL

An ancient form of ceremonial circle
An outward expression of our internal dialogue with the Creator (God)
Travel with us on this sacred path of teaching, meditation, prayer, healing, and celebration!

Join us around the Medicine Wheel on
The first Sunday of each month at 3pm

The Wheel at HeartSpace Community is not associated with any one Indiginous tribe but is based on the visions of the late Sun Bear, Medicine Chief of the Bear Tribe.
"I feel that I can only follow the rainbow path and the red road of life, and accept all people as human beings wherever they maybe, or whatever color of skin they may wear.  I pray that others may come to the path of unity that will allow us to overcome the enemy of separation that is now trying to destroy all of the earth.
I have spoken.  --Sun Bear"

At the monthly Medicine Wheel Gatherings you will learn about this transformational circle of life, its history and its place in your life.  Come experience all the Creator has to teach us in nature around the Medicine Wheel.
